"Interiore" is the only word I have found to describe what I felt among people of
Uzbekistan. In means deep, something between "intimate" and "internal".
This amazing gentle people welcomed me opening the door of their homes, with
the only thing they possess: a great smile.
They invited me to eat food on carpets set with bread, grapes, watermelon.
Empty but coloured and warm houses.
During communions, weddings, and parties they always welcomed me with joy
even if I could not say a word in Uzbeco or Russian.
"Interiore", è questa la parola che ho trovato per descrivere le sensazioni che ho provato tra la gente in Uzbekistan.
Un misto tra "intimo" e "interno". Questa meravigliosa gente ospitale e generosa mi ha accolto e lasciato entrare nella propria
abitazione, col sorriso di chi ha poco oltre ad esso. Invitato a consumare cibo su tappeti apparecchiati appositamente per me con pane, uva, anguria...
Case vuote e colorate e calde nello stesso tempo.
Comunioni, matrimoni, feste, ovunque accolto con gioia senza poter scambiare una parola di uzbeko o di russo.
