L'AQUILA AFTERMATH (2009/2010)
[view gallery] 03,32 AM. In the night of 6th April 2009 a terrible earthquaque made crack down the buildings of L’Aquila, city in the center of Italy. A wounded city that slowly, day by day, transfers itself in a tent city and begins to build a new future. In the tents, families broken by death retrieve from rubble the few domestic objects that testify their lives, starting to rebuild a new ordinary life and consolidate old memories. In a blue 5 squared meters tent , with a puppet, a plant, a carpet, it tries to create a newfiamiliar intimacy. Tents are a quick passage in a jurney to acquire a new house but they will be blue/gray gosts that will accompany forever their occupant along the future. [view gallery]
