INTERIORE UZBEKO (2005)
[view gallery] Image from "Interiore Uzbeko" "Interiore" is the only word I have found to describe what I felt among people of Uzbekistan. In means deep, something between "intimate" and "internal". This amazing gentle people welcomed me opening the door of their homes, with the only thing they possess: a great smile. They invited me to eat food on carpets set with bread, grapes, watermelon. Empty but colored and warm houses. During communions, weddings, and parties they always welcomed me with joy even if I could not say a word in Uzbeco or Russian. [view gallery]
